On behalf of the Leibniz Institute for Zoo and Wildlife Research (IZW) and the European Association of Zoo and Wildlife Veterinarians (EAZWV) we wish to extend a cordial invitation to you to participate in the: International Conference on Diseases of Zoo and Wild Animals – 12th to 15th May 2010, hosted by Jesús Fernández Morán. To foster an exchange of ideas among international specialists from many disciplines working with free-ranging and captive animals. To achieve this aim we have secured an impressive list of plenary speakers and workshop organisers.

In memory of Prof. Dr. Rudolf Ippen, who passed away in March 2009, the “Rudolf Ippen Young Scientist Award” will be awarded for the first time in Madrid.
