15th Benelux Congress of Zoology


30 - 31 October 2008, Liège, Belgium


Every year, the Royal Belgian and the Royal Dutch Zoological Societies organize the Benelux Congress of Zoology (BCZ). In 2008, the 15th edition of this event will be held at Liège (Belgium), on Thursday 30th and Friday 31st October. This annual meeting mainly targets young scientists (undergraduate, PhD Students and young postdoc) and intends to give them a first opportunity to show their results and to develop new collaborations.

The BCZ15, held at the University of Liège, is jointly organized by the Laboratory of Animal Systematic and Diversity (Prof. P. Dauby), the Laboratory of Animal Physiology (Prof. J.-C. Plumier) and the Laboratory of Functional and Evolutionary Morphology (Prof. P. Vandewalle). The overall theme will be: « Communication in Animal Biology: from cell to population ».  However many other sessions will also be open.
