we would like to invite you to the NEURIZONS 2009 Conference held in the Max Planck Institute for Experimental Medicine in Goettingen, Germany scheduled from:
Wednesday, 13 May to Saturday, 16 May 2009.
This meeting being organized by graduate students of the International MSc/PhD/MD-PhD Program Neurosciences and the Max Planck Research School for Neurosciences in Goettingen aims at bringing together internationally acclaimed scientists with the PhD student community.
The topics covered by plenary lectures include:
- Sensory Systems
- Plasticity and Synaptic Function
- Neuronal Circuits and Behavior
- Cognition
- Neuronal Dysfunction
The Keynote Lecture will be held by Prof. Miguel A. L. NICOLELIS, Duke University Medical Center.
Furthermore, we are organizing a symposium dedicated to Goettingen’s Nobel Laureate, Prof. Erwin Neher, to celebrate his 65. birthday featuring talks from some of his past students and colleagues.
