The International Summer School Pathogen-Host-Interplay organised by the Center of Infection Biology and Immunity (ZIBI) is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with financial resources from the Foreign Office

It is organised for 60 (16) German and international postgraduate students of biosciences or medicine who are in their final stage of their Master studies. It offers a forum for excellent students who consider infection biology and immunology as a research area for their PhD work and therefore seek a more comprehensive understanding of this interdisciplinary research field. PhD students who just started with their work and want to obtain additional training to complement their specific research project in infection biology or immunology can also participate.
