19. Neurobiologischer Doktoranden Workshop 2008

History:
The Neuro-DoWo (Neurobiologischer Doktoranden Workshop) was founded in 1990 by
Prof. Menzel, Prof. Pflüger and Prof. Erber. Every year, the conference venue is fluctuating at different places. This workshop is organized and conducted exclusively by PhD students of Host University without any interference of professors.
Conditions:
- PhD student from any field of Neurobiology, from molecular to behavioural sciences are welcome to apply (Registration)
- Conference language for presentations and posters will be English
- Participants can give 15 min talk including 5 min discussion
Venue and objectives:
The Neuro-DoWo 2008, the 19th annual conference will be held at Saarland University Saarbrücken, from April 10 to 11. Neuro-DoWo provides the opportunity for Neuroscience PhD students to share their interesting experimental findings in educational cum recreational environment by means of scientific talks and posters. This way, one will have an opportunity to analyse, evaluate and get useful suggestion for alleviation of research problems along with new research ideas during discussion session. In addition, participants will have a tremendous opportunity to establish their own contacts. Two guest talks will be delivered.
