Bestes Evolutionsposter: Katharina Meyer zu Riemsloh

The 115th annual DZG meeting in Kassel was a big success. In the evolution section, we had 19 short talks, 13 posters, and one invited talk by Charlotte Rafaluk-Mohr on virulence and longevity of pathogens. Our section’s price for the best poster went to Katharina Meyer zu Riemsloh from Münster for her poster on hygiene in honeypot ants. Next year’s annual meeting will be in Stuttgart. If you would like to suggest potential invited speakers, please get in touch!

Before that, Taina Conrad from the University of Bayreuth will host an evolutionary biology graduate meeting from April 12th -14th, 2024. We are still looking for potential organizers for a graduate meeting in 2025, please contact us if you are interested!

During the study section meeting and elected new speakers. While Steve Ramm will stay on the team, Monika Eberhard and Volker Nehring stepped down and will be replaced by Taina Conrad and Bahar Patla.
