Horst Wiehe Prize
Announcement of the Horst Wiehe Foundation Sponsorship Award
The Horst Wiehe Foundation Prize is awarded for an outstanding scientific dissertation on an exclusively zoological topic to young scientists after their doctorate and before their habilitation. The prize is endowed with 2000 euros. It is awarded every two years and presented at the respective DZG annual meeting.
The next time will be in 2025.
Applications or proposals must be submitted to the President of the German Zoological Association via the DZG office at dzg@bio.lmu.de by December 15, 2024.
Application documents (electronically as .pdf): CV, specimen copy of dissertation, publications resulting from it, expert opinion of a DZG member, one further expert opinion. Self-application is possible.
